200 Which Piece Checkmates? Problems: Choose the Right White Piece and Mate the Black King, Four Levels for Adults and Teens, All Solutions Explained

Chess Logic Puzzles 3 is the third book of Chess Logic, with 200 problems that ask one question. Each shows a real position on a full chessboard and a square marked with a question mark. Three white pieces are offered, and only one of them, set on that square, checkmates the black king. The problems come two to a page in four levels of fifty, from a few pieces on the edge of the board to crowded positions in the middle, and every piece is the answer as often as the others. The solutions explain why the two other pieces fail: no check, or the king escapes, and to which square. Every position is a legal chess position and every answer was checked with chess software. There is no notation to learn.
