Data Deletion

One request, no account required, answered inside 30 days.

This is the page Google Play, Apple and the GDPR all ask a developer to publish: a single place that says how to have your data deleted. Because the studio holds so little, most of this page is about what there is nothing to delete.

In effect October 9, 2026

The applications

The applications have no accounts and no server. Settings, saves, scores and progress are written to your device only, so uninstalling an app deletes all of it — there is nothing left behind on the studio’s side and nothing for the studio to delete on your behalf.

  • Android: Settings → Apps → the app → Storage → Clear data, then uninstall.
  • iPhone and iPad: touch and hold the app, then Remove App → Delete App.
  • Advertising data held by Google is not the studio’s to delete; reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads, and see the Advertising page.
  • Install history and purchases are held by Google Play or the App Store under their own policies, and are managed in your Google account or your Apple Account.

This website

The only personal data this website stores is a message you chose to send through the contact form: your name, your email address, your message, the browser user-agent it arrived with, and a salted one-way hash of your IP address. Ask, and the whole row is deleted.

Your language and theme preferences are on your own device, not on the server. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes them immediately — no request needed.

Making a request

Write to the studio through the contact form at https://typotouches.com/contact with the subject “Data deletion”. Include the email address you used to write in, so the right record can be found — that address is used only to locate and confirm the deletion, and is deleted along with it.

  • Acknowledged as soon as it is read.
  • Completed and confirmed in writing within 30 days, and usually within a few days.
  • Free, always. No account, no form, no identity documents.
  • You may also ask for a copy of what is held, or for it to be corrected, in the same message.

Backups are the one exception worth stating plainly: a deleted record can survive in an encrypted backup for a short period until that backup rotates out. It is not restored to the live database, and it is not used for anything.

Data the studio cannot delete

A purchase on Amazon, an order at Displate, an install or a review on Google Play, and the advertising data Google holds are all held by those companies as controllers in their own right. The studio has no access to them and cannot delete them. Each of those accounts has its own deletion route, in its own privacy settings.

How to reach the studio

Write to the studio through the contact form at https://typotouches.com/contact. A request about personal data is answered within 30 days.

TypoTouches is an independent creative studio, also listed on the shops as Typotouches Ess. It is the data controller for this website and for the applications it publishes.

Common questions

How do I delete my data from a TypoTouches app?

Uninstall the app. The applications store settings and progress on the device only and have no accounts and no server, so uninstalling removes everything. Advertising data held by Google is managed in your device’s ad settings.

How long does a deletion request take?

It is confirmed in writing within 30 days of being received, and usually within a few days. There is no charge and no account is required.

Questions about any of this go to the studio directly — the contact page reaches a person, not a queue.
