Chess Logic Puzzles 2 is the second book of Chess Logic, with 100 puzzles in which white pieces are hidden on the board and you know which ones. Some squares show a number: how many of the hidden pieces attack that square. Read the numbers and find where every piece stands. The puzzles come one to a page in four levels: Easy on 5×5 boards with a king, a rook and a bishop; Medium and Hard on 6×6 boards with the knight and the pawn; Expert on 7×7 boards with the queen. A solved example shows how to read the numbers, a bonus chapter holds six "Which Piece Checkmates?" problems on a full board, and every solution is at the back. Real chess rules apply: a rook, a bishop or a queen stops at the first piece in its way, and the knight jumps. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, proved by computer.
